the torqueflite 727 in my charger seems to slip (the engine revs rise like a clutch slipping from second finishing until third gear is in) every now and again, especialy when cold between 2nd and 3rd gear when upshifting, it seems to get better and stop slippingwhen warm after say 10 miles of driving, the tranny was rebuilt last year, and the problem has just started to occur.
is it adjustment or do i need to pull it out to inspect, or is this o.k.?

Mine would do that when it was low on fluid.  Have you checked that yet?

Mine dose that, but I suspect its because the kickdown is not adjusted properly.

If the linkage is properly adjusted and the fluid level is correct, try adjusting the kickdown band. If that doesn't help I would suspect faulty seals in the front clutch.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Either check or have someone check servo and line pressures. You may have a bad pump, valve body malfunction, kick down linkage adjustment problem, or seals leaking at the clutch piston as stated earlier. The pressure test can help with trouble shooting. A good service manual should tell you where everything should be. Good luck, Kyle.
