Life is going pretty well. Following my accident where i was run over from behind on 23 March,  my broken leg has a 2' titanium rod in it with 6 screws(should be worth something for scrap) and my smashed upper left arm has a 10" plate and 9 screws. The blood clot at the back of brain is receding, and I've retained all my memory and Cognitive function from before the acident.

Check out www.sunsethouse.com (news) or caycompass.ky for more information. My guys here have been amazing, and I'll always be indebted to my girlfriend Melissa for whispering in my ear as I lay unconcious, and grabbing my hands to pull me back from the brink of the pit, and giving me the inspiration to be where I am now. I'm back on the island now, and everyone is being very supportive. It's pretty humbling.

Always love to hear from you guys, I've put a post in the non auto section, please read it.

Good to hear it! I hope to get rid of my stick here in the next week. Nice of you to make that offer in the other thread, I'd take you up on it, but i'm a cheap ass and wont spring for a fancy vacation.  :icon_smile_big:

Not sure where you are, but checkout Spirit.com (I think.. Spirit air anyway) They have dead cheap flights, like stupid prices if you catch them right, my buddy flew here for $14! Anyway, we can always find somewhere for you to crash when you get here. :yesnod:

OK buddy, this is a beautiful place to honeymoon. If you give me enough notice, I can put you up for nothing. If you're half serious, email me on paul.dewing@tesco.net and I'll send some pics on. it really is beautiful here, proper caribbean paradise, and I can even set up dive lessons for you.

Glad to hear you're making a good comeback!
I used to work with a guy with a big rod & screws in his femur, liked to show off his x-ray pics. ;D  He gimped for a while, but eventually got around like he'd never been injured. I hope your recovery will be the same. :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Glad to hear you're doing well.   Keep on trying and never quit!
