I have a 2002 Ram Quad Cab with 4wheel disc and I am wondering just how hard it is to change the brake pads.

Is there anything I should know before attempting this?

disc brakes are easiest to work on. Have you changed disc brakes on other cars? Shouldn't be any different than on regular car/van, with discs.

did the brakes on my mom's 02 2500 ram in the shop the other day and it was as simple as any other disc brake job. :Twocents:
I would put some antisieze on the caliper bolts and make sure they are lubed were they go through the bushing on the caliper. ;)
