loose remote mirror

the driver side outside remote mirror on my 73.  the miiror head is loose.  how can i fix it,  is there a screw on the inside that needs to be tightened?  how do I take it apart? any advice is greatlly appreciated.  Thanks

Yep.  Easy, take off the 2 screws that hold it to the car.  Underneath (inside the base) you will find 2 small phillips head screws that hold the base to the mirror.  Tighten them up and you should be good to go.
