I'm going to look at a 68 saturday, it sitting in an old guys barn who doesnt want to finish it.

Its a 68 and supposed to be cherry, he has been working on it over the last 10 years. Poly suspension in it, body dipped, 100% solid body(no dough), rechromed fenders all plastic perfect.

Its all there also, needs assembled and painted.

It also comes with a rebuilt 440 and tranny.

Now the guy wants 12k and thats all I know. Assuming the worst(non matched, non RT car).  Is 12k a reasonable amount?

I guess ill get a better idea saturday...  I know I am kinda of looking at this as an investment but Ill prob not have the heart to sell it once i get it together and perfect.

Btw i can paint my own cars so the paint job will only cost me 500$ in materials.

sounds interesting. if its what it's  said to be, and you can do the paint and such, that doesnt sound like to bad of a deal to me.    if you do end up getting it, it'll be very hard to part with.  best of luck to you,

If your going to pick up a 68, be forewarned, they are about 4K pounds or so, be sure to wear a hernia belt... :hah:
