the windshield comes out pretty easy I just did mine a few weeks ago.
The hard part is pulling the trim off first, then you just split the gasket (it just folds into itself when installed, so you just undo it) then I took a bondo spreader between the gasket and glass to sort of unstick the gasket from the glass, then take a sharp razor knife and cut the portion of gasket that overhangs the glass. Then use the bondo spreader from inside the car and unstick the gasket from the glass from in there. At this point from inside you can push the glass out starting at the top and tilt it outwards, get out of the car and grab the windshield and remove. Takes about 30 min. I did it on my 70 the same way. I recommend a new gasket from Year One, they fit great and are identical to the originals.

Yeah I did mine last month.  Did the same thing pretty much.  The bottom trim was next to impossible to remove so I left it on until I got the windshield out.  I saved my gasket becasue it looked to be in nice shape (it didn't come out looking all that hot)  I used a plastic tool to push the gasket to side of the windshield, used some soap and water.  Gave a push in the corner and worked it across (more wedging and soapy water).

Good luck!
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

Well if you do it right when you install it again, your going to use a new gasket. If you do it this way, take all the windshield trim off. then you need to cut the gasket. the gasket looks kind of like an H. the top of the H straddles the windshield, and the bottom of the H straddles a channel around the windshield. Cut the outside leg of the H off where it straddles the windshield. Cut it as close to the center bar of the H as possible, when you peel that peice you cut off it off the car, you should see the edge of the windshield. Now have somebody help you and hold the outside, and sit on the seat and push up with your feet gently to loosen it from its gasket. then just work it around till it comes out. Last mopar windshield I removed was a 65 barracuda and I had it out in 1 peice in about 10 minutes.

I used this method aswell and really worked for me, I used at first thin electric fence wire from inside and with my other hand pulled on the outside. However for the whole winshield I didnt need to use this whole method but switched to the mentioned above..and worked really nice..it now lives in a guest bedroom on a thick blanket against a wall evenly

I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris
