Rollercoaster ride...

Alright guys I thought I would share a little story, the last month has been a bit of rollercoaster ride for me. Broke up with my gf, didn't work anymore, got pretty nasty. So I was feeling quite spontanious again after I was about chained to my chair when it came to doing things while I was with her.

So the 2nd day I was feeling very uhm free and had the feeling that I needed to get out of this place, sadly school is kind of limiting the amount of time you can get away. So I was sitting in a bar with a lot of people from school and was talking to this girl I never really talked to before and she had a break up as well and wanted to get out of here as well. So I asked where would we go? She said well I think Barcelona is cool, ok so I call my dad asked what a flight to Barcelona costs and the accomodation so well flight was pretty cheap and found a nice appartment for not too much money near the beach, only thing is it has only 1 king size bed. Oh well she didn't seem too bothered and well I ain't either. So told my dad to book the trip (of course going to pay him back). Although my dad put a few question marks behind the fact that I am going there to an appartment with a girl I don't really know and he has so far payed for everything, he supported me. BTW my dad is a great guy, you can count on him.

But somehow my life still seemed very boring, so the idea came to mind that I should really move out. If you would know me a little bit you know it would be a very bad idea to put me in a appartment in the middle of the city, I do like a party. But anyways went online thursday, found a place with a nice room with a balcony and a view of the skyline of Rotterdam, went to see the place friday. Said yes, signed the contract today, paid my first months of rent and got the key.

Oh and I'm very much broke now still have to furnice the appartment and have money for my trip to Barca, but I do feel a little bit alive again. Pff I really needed this bit, something to change out of my regular boring same old stuff routine. Thought I would share, I have been on here ever since I was like 15 and some of you have seen me go through a lot of stages in life. I just really feel that finally I am getting off the ground.

Good for you Arthur.  Hope everything works out, it definitely seems to be going in the right direction.

All I have done since I was about 13 is work , yes I finished school ... barely , working has not got me anywhere in life so far & somewhere in life I should have stopped & had some fun 
As long as I have known you you seem willing to work & pay your way & there is definatly nothing wrong with experiencing some different stuff in life before before you get tied down to careers , marriage & kids etc ... I should probably be living life more like you are !!!

A small update on the room, I got a little bit drunk thursday night and I still hadn't decided on what color I should paint so I was out with this girl and we were both pretty drunk so I said oh well f*ck it you decide as I just couldn't make up my mind. I sort of regret that now but oh well I have a color with a story to it. So let this be good advice never try to make these decisions when you had a couple of drinks they don't pan out as you had thought.
