I found these at the wrecking yard the other day in a '68 Valiant and they look right but I'm not sure if they are right. The date is wrong (1968-2) but other than that, and the fact that they're green, are they the correct style? The plastic cover measures 11.5" from the opening to the bottom tip and the belt extends out another 11.5" when fully deployed. So from the bottom tip to the buckle end is roughly 23" when it's fully extended. Sound right? Look right? Did I finally score or am I going to be sucking a lemon again? BTW, my '68 is an early production model (Jan. 8, '68) if that matters.

The shape looks right but I don't know for sure without being at my car to measure the length of the plastic housing.

Thanks guys. I guess these are going to have to be good enough.

Other than the length do they look right?

they look the same other than length of the flat part ...maybe there is another hole up further that you could cut it off......did those come from a tall bench seat ?

Yup. Front bench in a '68 Valiant. I haven't checked for any holes higher up.
