Howdy

I have been noticing a lot of the garage floors in these threads for quite a while now that have a checkered flag appearance (Black and White squares). Are these painted or are these tiles? I would be interested in finding out a little bit more about these as they do look pretty sharp especially when you have your ride parked on it. Are the tiles or paint that are used durable enough for working on, are they slip resistant or is it only mainly for looks?  ??? Any websites that anyone might be familiar with for researching this further?

Thanks for any help that you guys might have

This website has the flooring you are looking for...you can even request samples to be sent out to your house.  They definatly make the garage look nice and clean up easier...

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the info 68chrgrwife, I will definately check it out. Have you ever seen one of these floors up close and personnel? And if so did it seem pretty reliable and worth doing?

I saw them up close at a car show...they look really good...if i had my own garage (we live in military housing) I would definatly buyit...I am still looking into it though  I hear that they are removable....

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/ One stop Q & A site, there's even a separate section for flooring. :)

Speaking of checkered floors, check out this guy's setup! :drool5:
(it's somewhere on that site)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The best part in those photo's, to me anyways, isn't the floor, but the HEMI poster on the wall. Because it has my dad's old HEMI 500 on the poster. R4 red, with black vinyl top.
