85 Fifth Avenue? Is that the same basic setup as the Volarie swap? There's been a lot of controversy about that one.

I dont know about controversy, but drum to disc conversion is the best thing I've done to my Charger.

There's only a few Mopar spindles that measure the same as the oringinal drum brake spindles on a Charger (are we talking about a Charger here? What year?) In other words the Volarie spindles have a taller center point which makes the car sit lower and changes the factory geometry of the steering and suspension. Some people say this is harmful, some say it is beneficial. I say stick with the original measurements just to be sure.

On my 68 Road Runer, we used a K-frame of a 1970 Cuda with Aspen front drum. I did not do the work so I lack detail's. When it was I working alot and did not have time to hang around with Rich at Mopar Heaven. They where done around 1989 and it was my first dealing's with Rich.

To be honest, only grason I found out that they where Aspen's is around 2000 the right front rotor loked up. Bought a new 70 Rotor and caliper, where not the same. Used the number on the caliper and found out that way.

As far as handling, seem's fine after 40,000 miles and to say the break's are by far better is a understatement.
