I have to buy Sailpanel SE emblems for my Challenger and have found that 71-74 Charger ones are cheaper and look the same but are they?

The Challenger emblem has a rough look in the red , white , and blue areas. The Chargers are smooth. In my opinion they are not interchangeable.

I'm pretty sure they are the same. No reason to make them differents.

Just put E body or Cuda Challenger keywords on any search and will find increased price items beside the rest of body counterparts even they are the same.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

ChargerSG

They sure does :yesnod: I know nothing about 3 generation Chargers.... :icon_smile_big:

70 Challenger SE emblems are different then chargers.  They have a slight change in some details, like mounting and such I believe.  They do not reproduce 70 Chally SE emblems, but people do use Charger SE emblems in their place.  There was a thread on Moparts a while back about it.  I'll try to dig it up.

that's on 69. Dunno on 70, but not since 71. 71 and 72 all dodges are tristar with SE below. But not really sure about differences between bodies.

73/74 and laters are white medallion, since 75 or 76 are RED medallion. Dunno the last year of red medallion.
