Not as far as I know.  The law requires consideration for a binding contract, which isn't usually a real issue in a typical modern case, but the law is also not very concerned with what that consideration is.  In other words, had they known they were buying pictures of cell phones, the law wouldn't care if they spent 5 cents or $5 million.  Once the deal is struck, it's binding, unless there's fraud, mistake, etc., which opens up a whole new can of worms.

They pay airfare, 2 nights hotel, plus pay any fines and judgements she hands out, no money out of either ones pocket. No wonder the fata$$ was still smiling after the 5G judgement, she don't have to pay it!!

Ok, if that is true what you're saying, paying for everything, then it shows the judge as nothing more than a fraud. It's all for entertainment and should NEVER be seen as true law. As for scammers, spend the money for a bullet in the head and lime and the hole to put 'em. 'Nuff said!

I knew that Judge Judy was a hard ass, but that one took the cake.  I personally hate e-bay.  I am an e-bay widow when hubby is home.  I have heard of and seen soooo many scams that it should be totally shut down.  We sold my 73 challenger on it and the buyer had no idea wha he was buying and then tried to get all his money back and keep my car.  He paid $10,000 for a 73 that needed some paint & had minor interior problems, but was a daily driver.  Tell me he didn't get a steal!

no offense but since its a daily driver ill assume a small block, and i guess to me a 73 challenger needing paint and interior work is worth 10k, but i definately wouldnt call it a steal.  73's just dont demand the money 70-71's do. a 70 or 71 in that shape would be a decent deal at that price.

i hope the show doesnt pay for the fine. bastards like that need to get hanged.

the 73 had a 360 with a torqueflite 727 trans.  edelbrock intake a 650 cfi carb.  headmen headers and a 3" flowmater exhaust.  And yeah I know that 70 was "the Year" for Challengers, but I loved that car!  I had an offer for 15,000 at a car show...probably shoulda taken it!
