Ran across this article and was pretty shocked on how stiff the penelties are in Washington. Punishment sure doesn't fit the crime. Had it been a brick, Bomb, or something like that then maybe but geez!

Meanwhile OJ is out scott free!

This may not be a popular opinion but I happen to think times were better when an idiot could be taught a lesson and the "teacher" didn't have to worry about assault charges. Now days the deck is stacked in favor of those jerks who think life is all about them and their needs rather than being courteous to the needs of everyone. What does it say to society when the a$$hole$ can do whatever they want and no one says anything because they're afraid? It says this society is going down the crapper. I think Pete Ballin should have had the drink poured down the front of his pants, received a couple good slaps on the ears and given a citation while Jessica Hall should be lauded for putting the arrogant p**ck in his place.

2 years is too much, but no excuse to throw shit at other people, especially ones with window open.  Here would be a good lesson, it happened to a friend years ago.  He got cut off and threw an empty water bottle at some woman in traffic. she got his plate and he got a call from a detective.  he went down to the police stationand the detective asked him if he knew anything about the incident.  he of course lied and said no.  then he pulled the waterbottle out of a draw and put it on the desk and did not say a word.  My buddy basically crapped himself and the cop just let him off with a very stern warning.  that was a lesson well taught.

again, this woman is totally wrong and deserves some punishment, if only for using the pregnant sister as a defense.  "the last time he cut me off, he belly almost went into the dash board"  total bullshit.  she got pissed like the rest of us would and screwed up, don't use your kids or your sister as an excuse and take your punishment, although the punishment is way too extreme in this case.

and the guy who cut her off.  he probably drives that way all of the time and it's only a matter of time until he does it in front of a cop, and then he will get the crap scared out of him.

bull

These morons only drive normally when they see a cop. And when they don't see the cop the cop's too busy going somewhere to bother doing anything. Nah, these people need to be taught a lesson by their peers because no one else is going to do anything until the guy crosses the wrong dude and ends up beat or shot to death. I'd say a pint of sticky pop is a lot better than he could have got had he met the wrong guy.

Charger-Bodie

there are 2 things that cause me to have road rage
1 people who dont understand that the left lane on a interstate is for the faster moving trafic not for whoever wants it i really get mad when there is 2 people side by side on the interstate at the same speed holding eveyone {MOSTLY ME} up
2people who slowdown for green traffic lights
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

She will not get 2yrs, they are making a mountain out of a mole hill. She has
not yet been sentinced by the judge, I bet she gets 6mo or less. Yes I get
just as mad at the next person when I get cut off ''as she is claiming'' but
I have never raced around traffic to get next to somebody on the freeway
to toss something into there car, oh and what a great role model she
is being for her kids ''that were in the car'' that to me is one of the worst
things, kids learn by example and from there ''parents''
But there are times I wish I had my 45 in the car  :icon_smile_big: oops did I say that  :rotz: :rotz:

That's just rediculous  ::)  You can vandalize a car and not get that much time.  Even the people in that she threw it at thought it was a rediculous penalty.  She shouldn't have thrown the cup, but jailtime is excessive, let alone 2 years.

I agree with Bull...I miss the days when two people could get rowdy over a problem and work it out on the spot without having to always go through the police  :rotz:

Guy was probably some little weenie who's only thought was himself and being first. I am sure he probably ticked off more than the one lady that day and he should have been cited for "agressive driving". I see idiots like that every day who don't care who they cut off or how they get into a lane just so long as they get in front of you. The ones who irritate me the most are the ones who shoot into the safe following distance you have between you and the car in front of you even if its not big enough for their car to fit in ther...they just dive right in making you hit the break and pray the car behind you is paying attention. I'm sure the puke didn't tell the cops that part while he was crying about the evil lady in the caravan.... I feel that if they wanted to set an example with the lady... A stiff fine, and maybe community service, and cleaning the guys car out would have been more suitable....

Wiffleball bats and bicycle helmets should be standard issue in cars for just this sort of thing. :D

Maybe have little pull-off areas along the interstates just so these nutters can work it out between themselves, and some interested bystanders.  :icon_smile_big:
