The new leaf springs are Awesome.  The ride is so much better, as is the stance of it now.  I could tell a huge difference when I saw it, but is it just me beacause I know it was done?  Here are pics from yesterday, and a few old ones to compare.  It really rides nice now!  I swear, the new springs might have been the original...... :lol:that is how bad they were!

What kind did you get? (leaf springs)

They are the Heavy Duty R/T springs from Summit.

Well, it was just over a year before I found out, but it is from a 69 GTO.  I was parked at a cruise, and a GTO pulled in right behind me, and verified that is what the wing is from.  I don't know if you all remember a guy whose screen name was "oldyeller" or not, but that is who I got the car off of.  He lives in Alabama and told me his son had a 68 exactly like mine (now), and wanted his 69 to look like his son's.  So my guess is that explains the GTO wing.

The Colonel is one sweet car, but I will say, I do like it with the older springs in. I loved how the car sat a little lower in the rear. He does look good.

It didn't look bad with the old springs, but man did it ride rough!  Thanks for the comment! ;)
