Has anybody tried this kit from Mancini racing? It seems like a good setup but just wanted opinions of anybody out there who has tried it. Does it come with instructions how to wire it to my existing system?

I haven't tried it but if you do a search on here, I remember you can do this for a lot cheaper with off the shelf stuff from newer vehicles.  Worst case, you'll have to buy the bracket from them.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

That bracket is the AR Engineering small Denso alt bracket.  It's for Toyota 4Runner 60 Amp Internally regulated alts.  The 85-89 ones for 4 cyls come with a v belt pulley already installed.  It's smaller, lighter and more amps at idle than the Mopar one.

It's different than the modern V8 mopar Denso 90 Amp alt bracket - you can use the factory bracket.
