Trouble with car hauler

I bought a car down in Tucson, AZ(Home town) and lined up a car hauler while I was still down there(this was a few days before Christmas). I live in Denver(been here 4 years) but will be moving back down to Arizona after this school year lets out. The car hauler said he would be able to get it sometime during the week after new years. Well Denver has been having a hell of a winter and we have had some bad weather. He has been postponing the pick up every time we get a storm. Now this is fine, I've never driven a truck with a 2 car transport and it may not be a good idea to drive one with this type of weather. But what really irks me is that he doesn't call and let me know his plans. He doesn't tell me he is not going to be able to pick the car up as scheduled and when I call him the day he was supposed to get it he doesn't answer, like he is afraid I will be mad and cancel with him. Well now after waiting almost a month AFTER the scheduled arrival date I am getting really annoyed. Should I change car haulers? Should I leave it with the original owner until I move back(the owner is a really nice older fellow who would be fine with that and he wouldn't do anything to the car)? The car is out in the boondocks so I'm not worried about it getting vandalized or anything. What do you guys think? I'm 17 and on a budget but I would rather pay to get the car up here in Denver and then get the car running and drivable and just drive it back down to Tucson when we move. Sorry this was so long and hopefully it made some sense. You can see pictures of the car if you click on the link in my sig.

I would leave it there myself but I understand you wanting to play with your new toy.Save the hauling cash and spend the money on the car later.

If you're on a budget then I'd save the cash until you are closer to the car. I know it's difficult to wait but probably cheaper and less frustrating in the long run. The last thing you want is to have your car damaged or destroyed because you were impatient. I agree that the hauler should be better at communication since he's running a business and all but, believe me, you should get used to that if you're going to be around this hobby for long...

Well I just tried him back and he is 2 hours outside of Tucson ready to get the car. So I feel much better about the whole situation. Hopefully hes not a member here but if he is I was just mad about the whole situation with the weather and all. It should be here monday or tuesday! I know it would be cheaper if I left it there but I got a great price on the car and even with the shipping it is WAY below what I could flip it for (don't worry I'm not flipping it). Is everyone alright that I post on here about my car even though it isn't a charger? I'm also on moparts.com but sometimes I get sick of that site/people and you guys seem to know a lot about mopars in general.

It pays to read the entire thread before responding...

I can't seem to get your cardomain link to work so maybe you could tell everyone a little about the car? That's good to know that it's on the way. Winter is a great time to get it all ready for summer - and your trip in this case.

You will find that we (at least most) like all mopars, and many like most muscle cars, even if they are are not a mopar. I can tell you I like the car. Where in Denver are you? My family moved out there (Westminster), and you have a few good junk yards out there!

That is a nice car.  I would leave it in AZ its gonna cost you a fortune to haul it back and forth.  That money would be better spent on things for the car.  Just be patient.  I would ask a  friend or family member to take it or have it towed to a storage unit and it will be safe until you get back, and be alot cheaper than hauling it back and forth.

We only get fussy if you tell us a little about the car without picture. You however provided pictures so were all good nice car enjoy it.

So did you get the car or not. Man don't just leave us hanging. We need more pictures. Hope all is fine assuming it is since you stopped discussing it.
