I wanted to see how it would fit. And I don't see what the big hoopla is!   :icon_smile_dissapprove:
I could barely get a couple of fingers into it. >:(
If Daimler-Chrysler is serious about selling these cars, they're going to have to consider making them at least....TWICE this size!! :icon_smile_big:

So anyhow....I thought I'd throw the new one up against the older version for a bit of a size comparison.
As it turns out, if they are both true to the 1/18 scale depiction, then the new Challenger isn't THAT much bigger than the old. Note how the roof is almost exactly the same size, while the windsheild id projecting that much further ahead. And of course, the hood is quite a bit shorter.

With regards to the model, the detail is VERY good! Even the hood has springs. The interior and trunk actually have rugs, the visors fold down, and the seats not only fold forward, they slide back and forth on rails!

Quite possibly the best detailed 1/18 car in my collection.

If only the real engine compartment were half as simple we'd be in business. ;D

Is your model a diecast 1:18?  Where did you get it?  It really does look good.

Just saw one on Ebay for like $79!
That's disgusting. I don't care if the seats DO slide back & forth, that's too expensive! :flame:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Im pretty sure the brand is ERTL.

I'm pretty sure after all is said and done, this TOY was a $100 touch...owie!
I had put my name on an advance order for purchase way back in September, and it showed up this month.
A late Xmas present I guess.

This is where I got it:

The mfg is highway 61.I preordered one and the cost was $69 I thought that was a good price considering how much detail there is.I also picked up one at a auto swap meet it was mfg. by maisto for $20 but it doesent have half the detail as the other.I cant wait for the real thing to come out I might have to sell my house to get it.
