Excellent movie! :2thumbs: I'd recommend it to anybody & especially teens. :yesnod:
My wife was boo-hooing through at least half of it. I shed no tears, but did leave feeling good about the movie I just saw, as opposed to that too-familiar feeling like I just wasted my money again. :rotz:

Here's Rolling Stone's revue

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I go to the movies a lot, thats the only thing I can do with my wife that will get her to leave me alone in the garage.  That is one of the flicks she has been talking about seeing, it just didn't sound good to me.  Maybe I will reconsider.

That's what I thought too & wanted to see a different flick, but it was sold out. So we saw Freedom Writers instead. It does have a similar story line, but it's much better, IMO. Also, being a true story, that always makes more of a connection with me when I'm watching a flick.

BTW, wasn't Dangerous Minds with Michelle Pfeiffer?

Pete, it was completely off my radar too, I hadn't heard of it before last night. I didn't want to see some gang-banger flick (those are too depressing & retarded), but we took a chance anyway. I'm glad we did. :yesnod:
