My '68 Charger is equipped with A/C.   There is a bracket for supporting the front heater hose.  It comes off the top of the arm used for adjusting the alternator belt.   The bracket hooks toward the rear at the top.   It has a hole in the center of the bracket that appears to be for a bolt or screw.   There is nothing on the backside of the bracket that would hold the hose in place.   What am I missing, and any ideas where I can get one, short of looking through salvage yards?

I dont know about 68 cars but a Brackett is used for the 1970 big block with A/C. It doesn't hold the hoses but more just keeps them out of the way of fan. LEON.

Here's a picture of the bracket on my '68 A/C car.   It comes off the alternator adjustment arm.  You'll see that it hooks toward the back at the top, and has a hole through the center.  I'm wondering if it's missing a rear piece that bolts to the bracket...Brian
