I've got a 22-250 that I love to go pop prairie dogs with.  I reload my own shells and I was wondering how many times you guys will reload one set of brass.  So far I've only shot my brass 3 times and reloaded twice.  I don't shoot very hot loads, just a mid range one.

So how about it?  How many times do you reload the same set of brass before you toss them?
When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.

read number 13, looks like you can reload forever if it's a moderate load.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

With a shell that small you can keep reloading them until you start to notice wear on the shell casings.

I agree.  I reload the small stuff unless or until there's any visible damage.

Yeah the 22-250 should be fine for moderate loads, but take some precautions.  Measure the case length after shooting to evaluate case stretch relative to spec brass.  Most reloading manuals will tell you to trim the case if it has stretched to a certain delta.  You can only use the press so many times to force the case size before you compromise the strength.  There may be no outward appearance that the case has been compromised until it splits in the chamber!  I measure all rifle cases after each shooting and separate them based on amount of stretch.  The more stretch the more tired the brass is and the sooner it should be taken out of service.
