anybody got any cool old RatRod and Gasser pics? i've always loved the old RatRods but can't find a good site with them
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

Don't know if this falls under ratrod or not,but here are a couple pics of my 34 Ford model B pickup that has been in my family since 1960.My grandfather got it when he owned his gas station in 1960,gave it to his son(my uncle),who proceeded to start hot rodding it,grandpa put a stop to it,it sat until 1970 when the station was sold, given to another uncle(which was also my godfather),he put a 65 mustang 289,3 speed and rear in,new polyglass tires and aluminum rims, shortened the bed and frame, and thats how it sat till 2 years ago when he passed, and was given to me by my aunt.Very solid piece for 73 years old, hopefully won't take me all those years to get to do something with it.As I am most into the musclecar era,and like to see them restored correctly, this looks like it will be alot of fun as you can do anything you want on these types of custom builds.

Wow, nice collection of pics!! :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
