As an owner of a first generation and a 3rd generation and having owned no less than 15 (FIFTEEN) second generation Chargers, I REALLY like the new ones. If you don't like it, that is just fine, it's a free country.  Some people say the new car is an insult to the name Charger, sorry, the OLD Chrysler did that when they stuck the name on a 4 banger crapbox k-car derived puddle jumper. JUST like they did with the Daytona.

The SRT 8 is more than capable of laying down SERIOUS numbers both on the dragstrip and on the autobahn.

As far as I am concerned, they stopped making Chargers in 74 and started up again 32 years later. The Charger is like a LOT of Mopars newer stuff, you either love em or hate em.  Not unlike the 66-67 Chargers. I'll take My Daytona in Go ManGo Orange!
