Ok I have a 70 charger with a 318.  Car came with plumb crazy paint.  I really like the look of a triple black charger, so should I keep it purple or paint it black? Oh what the hell I'm open to other colors as well

Ghoste

If you like black, you should paint it black.

moparguy01

i warn you on black. its a bastard. imagine this scenario.

you want to drive the car, so you pull it out of the garage, and its dirty as hell. so you wash it. you drive it, you get out at the local cruise spot, its dirty again and looks bad. then realize that there is absolutely no way to keep the damn thing clean at any time.

I say go purple. it looks good on those cars.

histoy

I think triple black looks great, but it's a real pain to keep clean.   Plum Crazy looks awesome as well, and might not be as hard to keep clean.   If the car came from the factory that color, I'd repaint it that way.

Its my opinion. Just an option. I see a few Plum Crazy Chargers already, and way more triple black ones. Why not go with something different.

when they say "this or this" it doesnt mean come up with your own oppinion. it means which should I use, A or B? C isnt even in the equation.

Silver's the only guy I know that can fail a multiple choice test.  Both answers are correct and he still failed.

My opinion is purple.  It's still hard to keep clean but not so much as black.
When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.

Original FC7 car? Did you say ORIGINAL FC7 CAR??? No brainer. Plum Crazy.
Be prepared to put MUCH work into a black paint job to get it looking good, & then there's the constant waxing, glazing, detailing spray, etc to keep any micro swirls away. Oh, and dirt and scratches.

Plum Crazy, definitely. But, maybe I'm just biased.

They say there are no wrong answers when it comes to opinions, but somehow Silver found a way... :smilielol: :slap:

Both great colours but seeing as its an original purple car I'd stick with that! Especially seeing as though black IS so hard to keep clean!! ;)

I don't have a build sheet or fender tag to prove it's a real fc-7 car, but there is plum crazy paint in the door jambs floor pan engine bay.

black and purple, Just kidding :P I say FC7 for 70  :yesnod:
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris
