Hey All,
I have been a member of DC.com for a while, although I don't post daily, I do check in every day or two.
For those who don't know I have a 69 RT, and originallity is no concern with me, my engine is not numbers matching, nor my trans. I just planning on building a good driver/local show car, I have been working on it off and on for a while. I'm getting closer to paint, still like some body work but its gettiing closer.

I just wanted some opinions on color, the car is originally Y2 yellow but here are some other option I'm considering. My car has Black interior.

Thanks Jason.

You have F6 and F8 listed, but no GG-1 dark racing green metallic?  :'(

I don't like yellow cars, personally.  My car was F8/661, but I can't stand the medium green.  I was incredibly close to painting mine GG-1, but went black at the last minute.

I voted for Y2 yellow. This is truly an overlooked yet awesome color. When done right, it is beautiful. Especially with a black top & white interior!!  :drool5:

I am going Y1 with my Challenger,  my 68 is QQ1 blue (real close to b5) and I have always been torn between sassy grass and sublime, my 73 will be one of those two.  So I think you can't go wrong my problem is To many colors not enough cars.

F6, but I'm a little biased since that was the color of my first Charger.

Put me down for SUNFIRE YELLOW.  I am a little bit biased though.  Bob

I voted for Y2, because it is the original color but B5 blue would look sweet with the black interior!

Personally if i was in your position i wouldn't paint it green for two reasons.

1. there is nothing wrong with a green charger because we have one but there are a lot of them around.

2. If the wife wants it green paint it something else and then tell her you will have to buy another one if she wants a green charger. :engel016:

Yeah, my problem with F8 although I love it, is there is a 68, and a 69 this color in my area, they look Identical except of course the 68\9 differences, grill, tail, etc. They are both green w/ black top and magnum wheels. I would love Sassy Grass, I know its not a 69 color, but one of if not my favorite muscle car era colors, But yellow is my Favorite color in general,
Thanks for all your inputs and opinions

BF Goodrich Radial T/A's in P295/50R15.  Rims are Year One 15"x10" with 5" backspacing.  No tubbing required.  Thanks for the compliment hobo!

If not tubbed did you have to use the Spring relocater set up? LEON.

Dave22443

No tubb.  No spring relocators.  Everything in the back end is completely stock.  The only thing I had to do is add a pair of air shocks.  With the kids and the wife in the car, the tires were tight enough to rub on bumps.  80 lbs of air keeps that from happening.  The backspacing I really needed was 4.75 but I couldn't find that and I can't afford custom made rims.  (4.50 back spacing would rub the springs)
