Art Morrison made rear frame rails to spec for us when we tubbed a 1969 Charger....       might give them a try - A very high quality pieve as well.

Ralph, here are a few pics of my buddies 68 Coronet. The car is minitubbed with ladder bars, coilovers and a narrowed Dana. The tires are 31x15 hoosiers and they tuck up nicely under the quarterpanels. There is a lot of room to play with under there  :icon_smile_cool:

i really like it  my coronet is even green  but its a 69   at first i was really wanting to trade it off for a plymouth  but more i look at it i think the coronet will look better   tubbed then a road runner  plus around here  there is gobs of 68-69 road runners but no 69 coronets/super bees  least none on the road   now if could see a pic of a dodge 69 1/2 super bee that is pro streeted   like to have a factory style 6 pack lift off hood   i already got a 71 440  and a 6 pck set up

Ralph,

Kevin used to run a 6-pack hood before the blower went on.....looked mean as hell ! I think you would really like that look  The mini tub is recent.... as in last winter. The frame rails are in the stock location and there's room for all that rubber underneath.  :icon_smile_cool:

Tom, the Green Monster is a Killer....runs 135mph in the 1/4 and still gets driven on the street  :2thumbs:

Ron, that Coronet is awesome and cool as all hell.  It's great he left it as a "500" and didn't throw "RT" badges on it.   135mph, that's gettin' it.  :o

firefighter3931

Mike, the car is sweet....you'd luv to drive this beast....it's a monster. We assembled the bullet in my garage a few summers ago and it has all top shelf stuff inside. The heads are ported Bulldogs and it's running a solid roller cam. Kevin will have it in the high nines next season once all the bugs are worked out....it's still being tweaked.  ;) At 135mph the usual et's are in the high nines and so far it's turned a low, low 10....oh so close. At the cars current weight it takes 750 crank hp to go 135mph so it's gettin er done....just have to work on the short times and it'll come around.  :icon_smile_big:

Ron

Ps. Here's a pic of the assembled shortblock taken while we were degreeing in the cam. The pistons are custom built 7.5:1 compression Diamond racing with gas ports. The rods are h-beam and it has a reworked factory steel crank. The engine is a standard stroke 440.  :icon_smile_cool:

Actually the tires are 31x16.5 Hoosier Quicktime Pros  DOT ;D  I highly recommend them :icon_smile_big:
Like Ron stated she gets driven to cruise nights and latenight week end coffee runs with some "playtime"
I had 17inches to work with so naturally i crammed 16 1/2 wide of tire ;)
