Just finished today.  I'll be tearing out the carpet and side panels later today and working on that.

I think that's the same wheel that I installed in my wife's cuda. She gets lots of compliments on it.
Your dash looks great. It's amazing how much difference a nice dash makes in the overall looks of the car.

Great work. You can start on mine next. Where did you get the gauges done at?

thallium

Thanks for the complements guys. The gauge cluster was in pretty good shape, so I left it alone. All I did was touch it up a bit and repainted all the pieces.   All gauges work.   My other car I had them done at a place called United Speedometer here in riverside. They did a good job on my 68 cluster.

I pulled the carpet and back seat out today. I noticed the passenger side front floor had a lot of surface rust which I grinded off today.   The only thing I can think of is the heater core must be leaking.   I did notice when I was driving it about 6 months ago that a little steam would form on the winshield out of the top heater vents.     Those 2 clues tell me that there is a good chance my heater core might be bad.   What is involved to change out the heater core.   Can I access it from under the dash, from under the passenger side? or am I going to have to tear this whole thing apart again.....

I did a little reading. It looks like I might have to just remove the glove box so I can remove the whole heater, then after the heater is out, I can replace the heater core. It does not look like I'm going to have to take it all apart, just the glove box to access some pieces.  Sound about right?
