Hookem,
Was your Charger originally from Jersey??

Not sure really?  The guy who owned it previously lived in Cali (2 owners ago) and sold it to a guy who then moved to Austin.  I bought it early this year.  I haven't run a title search or history report yet though.  Unfortunately the original 440 was removed and replaced with a 500 CI / 575 HP crate motor.  :flame:  I just finished going through the motor again and am breaking it in as often as I can, SHE IS A BEAST!!

I hoped I could have tracked down the original block for it...so far no luck.

Hey Troy (in Houston).  Like your Charger too!  Is it finished ?

Nope,, not yet.. It's closer though than the last time I talked to you......  Opppsss.. had you confused with the previous owner.. I was thinking of buying the car and he sent me that exact picture........

Yeah All, that's what my '68 hemi Charger's going to look like in regards to color combination.... I'll also have 15x7 Magnums up front and 15x8's in the rear........

Hook'em... :punkrocka:

I know that charger or at least the previous owner.

I guess he finally sold it and you were the lucky one.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

yeah, nice to put it mildly...

I live in Cedar Park so I am not too far from you topduarte.

Troy,  Why didn't you jump all over it when he was selling it?   ???

The cost.. Having a hemi '68, a 69 C500 and a v-code '70 Charger R/T, I didn't see the justification to spend the dollars he wanted. Now, that's not to say it isn't worth it, just wasn't in the cards for me at the time......  Timing's everything.... I'm glad it went to someone who will take care of it. Being that you're in Cedar Park, you should try and make the Charger Meet in Boerne next year on the 1st weekend of June. What a sight it would be, your '68 next to my '68... Twins to each other except for the little emblem on the door....
PS >> I used to live in Georgetown while I was attending UT........
