powder coating new drive line?

just got my new drive line and it is bare metal with a clear coat, was wondering if you can powder coat it or will it be out of balance if i do. or should i just paint it.

Have it coated, it won't disrupt the balance of it. It's just being heated up, not thrown out of bal. that way. Make sense damn it! Call ya' later.
