Is old muscle competing w/t new muscle.I don't think classic cars are selling very well at the moment. Is it possible that someone can believe that they can replace an original classic,w/t the newer version.
I am totally excited about the 6.1 HEMI CHALLENGER.It will be an awsome car and exceed all expectations. But theese cars could never deliver what a classic CHALLENGER brings.Remember what the old add said.I still believe it to be true although I can't seem to remember the last time I read it.

Power is power.  Sure you can find a lot of nerw cars out there that go faster than my 69.  HOWEVER, I have drove my Charger daily for the last week, and I cant go anywhere without causing a scene with it.

If by the word compete in the selling market, I have turned down 7 offers to buy my car in the last week.  I dont know if the classic car market is slow or not, but I could sell my car in about 2 days.

I agree with that. The new challenger would be cool, but the Charger (for example's) body is so unique and gets a lot of looks. I also like the feeling of the secondaries opening when you floor it. That and I can fix most things on it when they go wrong.

The price of the new muscle is comparable to many classics so I think anyone choosing the newer car is probably a new car buyer anyway.

Some of these retro builds have the latest technology and are downright awesome and the performance is out of this world for what I've read. I still like my 68 Charger R/T the way it came out of the factory - actually with a little more hp like I had mine done, but it sure would be nice to have the Charger perform around turns, etc.. as a new car.
