I think Ron is still sleeping after his long drive. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to provide details when he's awake. :P

Yep, had a great 10 day roadtrip picking up the new truck. Spent the first w/e with Steve P down in Fla. who was kind enough to put me up for a few days in his home. Steve has a very nice shop and some really solid cars to work with. The 65 Coronet is gonna be sweeet....looking forward to seeing it up and running.  :icon_smile_cool:

Visited with my aunt in Fla and my cousin in Georgia for a few days. It's allways nice to see family when you're away from home.  :yesnod:

Left Georgia and hooked up with my old pal R2 for the w/e. Bad weather limited our car activities allthough we did go out for a spin in that sweet 69 rt/se Charger of Doug's. Man i luv the feel of 493 cubic inches. The Belvedere is one Bad Ass racecar....especially when fired up with open headers in the garage

Doug, thanks for the Dodge plate on the front of the truck.....noticed it yesterday when i arrived in Cleveland  :icon_smile_big:

Met up with a few buddies in Cleveland on the way home and pulled an all nighter driving. Finally got home earlier today and had a nap after being awake for the better part of 36hrs. I'm still tired....lol !

Anyway, here are a few pics of the new ride. It's an '05 Ram 3500 dually with the Cummins Turbo Diesel. The truck runs great and has lots of grunt. Fuel economy is very good and it averaged 22mpg cruising along at 70 mph on the trip home. I'm impressed with the rig so far and it should get the job done for towing my junk around when the time comes.  ;)

Don't forget to put all of the English/French safety/warning stickers on the truck to appease the Ministry of Transportation!   ::)

TEASE!!!!
;) I knew Ron would come around soon enough.

The Truck looks like it could haul a fair amount of parts for the next run to Norwalk.

Congrats Ron.   Nice find after your long search. :icon_smile_tongue:

I gotta get me on of those.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

LOL ! No kidding...the 8ft box is huge. There will be lots of Keiths coming south next year for Carlisle. I've allready booked vacation time for that w/e so it's a go for me. Hope all you guys can make it to the show. Is it too early to start a Carlisle thread  ;D

Next up is an 8.5x24ft enclosed to pull behind the rig.  :icon_smile_cool:

Thanks for the kind words guys, much appreciated.

Without a doubt you have an invite. I'm not paying for fuel though.  :o That would break my bank for sure. I think Carlisle is the best plan. You guys need to book your rooms ASAP. Quality Inn is the place to be.  :yesnod:
