intake manifold

just had my carb rebuilt and took a look down the intake manifold

should the carbon seen in the picture be cleaned up?  or doesn't it make a big difference?

let me know what you think

if it needs to be cleaned, should the manifold be removed first?

That doesn't look excessive.....i wouldn't worry about it. Bolt the carb on and go have some fun.
