After removing chrome from my original gold 69 charger, I came upon peices of the original vinyl top-------and it was tan color!!!!!!!  I thought it would be black.  Does anyone have a pic of a gold charger with a tan vinyl top?

Are you sure it was tan & not faded white?   I have no Y4 gold with tan roof's in the registry.  i have plenty of white though :scratchchin:

Just about 100% positive....The peices I found were small and were under the chrome trim, so they wouldn't fade anyway.  I thought it was weird because I have never seen a pic of an original gold charger with a tan vinyl roof...weird...

mine was the Med Bronze with the Tan top and black Int. Stripe delete,.. tan tops are hard to find pics of...
