This was after a couple of hours in the rain, I wonder if the whole rear window would have filled up overnight :o
At least I know I don't have a leak in the rear window, but I probably would have filled the trunk if it reached the lid.

that is some funny stuff!  :o ( but in a good way )   that is about the only thing that i think sucks with design! nice shots though. looks like you got some good sealing stuff to hold all the water there!

wow.

you could put some goldfish in there and have a nice little tank....lol

seriously though. I'm suprised it didn't come launching thru the sail panels trim holes. You must have sealed those up real good too.

Welll...sail panels are named from boats...and boats are all about the water...so it's only fitting that those sail panels should be in the water. ;D

J/K, now go park it in a garage. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That is a cool picture! Scary as hell, but still very cool.  :coolgleamA:

hope you got good paint under those mouldings/vinyl top. I sure dont and if I pressure wash it, you can see whole lost of rust come out from under mouldings.

I always had a natural drain hole that allowed it to drain into the trunk in that same corner, someone repaired the left side of mine before i got it with lead (can see the lead running down the metal inside the trunk) but the right side had a hole the size of a nickel, till i put a nickel in the hole and puttied it up (por15 putty).  the car would always be worth a plug nickel lol.  Turns out I never needed to worry about it since its been parked inside for 2.5 decades.  Only time mine has sat in the rain was when I was 17-22.

When I changed the vinyl the whole roof was sanded to bare metal, etch primed and painted like the rest of the car since it rains every day here :-[.
I also used the same kind of sealant that is used on windshields on every single moulding clip to avoid getting water in, seems to be working :yesnod:

that's why mine is in the garage all the time... it dont drive well in the rain anyhow since it will suddenly snap-roll (one did it on the freeway in a light rain thank goodness there was no other vehicles around)   :yesnod: and with the hills here i get that all the time, rain also builds up in the hood deppressons too,...
that pic shows some pretty good body work there... & nice looking package tray,..
since i dont have any garage space for my other tow this winter's gonna be a problem for the runner,.. i hope to have it in for it's repaint over the winter mos..  :-\ $ is the problem now..

Clausoe, is'nt that the Charger, the one you beatifully sculptured a patch for the roof and welded it on, where the steel was corroded? Wow, you have her back in the elements!!   That was a very nice repair by the way!! :yesnod:

Those are some steep hills you are parking on man.
I forgot about the way the hood depressions fill with after a rain or a wash.  A benefit to having a 1st gen I suppose.:icon_smile_big:

That is correct, all that work fresh in mind it's pretty annoying with all the rain. I'm pretty sure it can handle it though since i did a good job painting and sealing it. It's garaged 3/4 of the year as well.
