I just got the tires mounted on my new American Racing 10 spoke vectors.  It's raining like cats and dogs here today, but I hope to get the tires on the car in the morning and post pics.

Kept the old 255/60's for the front, just bought 275/60s for the back.

:drive:

Yeah, I really noticed the height difference on the back wheels this morning when I got gas, my arm was a lot higher in the air than before    ;D

Curious, how's the turning for the front on sharp turns? Back doesn't look like it would have much body rub even with passengers or stuff in trunk.
Nothing personal, just business

Chargen69

I've never had any rubbing on the front even in really sharp turns

Looks good!!  Just wondering - do you think the wider rims (back) would fit on the front?  How much room do you have with the current front wheels when they are turned to full lock?  I'm more into the NASCAR look - wide wheels on the front and back.  Thanks.

I didnt try that, but I dont think it would work with full turning radius, I think the backspacing is too deep on those 8.5" wide rims. I'll check when I get home about space on the 15x7's on the front

it wont work, you can get them to work but you will need to get some spacers.  cant remember how big of one you will need but i can check my notes for you if you do want to go that route.   some of the general lee guys should be able to chime in w/ the answer off the top of their heads :P
