if the new GM pickup isn't a winner its game over for GM. but hers some info on the GMT900

All models will have unique grills, headlamps, bumpers, flares, and box outers. Even the suvs and trucks will have distinct characteristics. No outer parts will be able to transfer from truck to suv. The rear flares bulge out to look more akin to a dualie. It has more leg roomand hip room over the GMT800 truck. A new coil over shock set up allows for a significant range of control, yet still keeps the necessary strength needed for heavy load carrying. Silverados will come standard with 17in rims but offer both 18in and 20in. The new Silverados NHT max trailer package in the 4x4 extended cab is reported to be able to tow 10500 lb comfortably.
i will have more info later and maybe pics to if i can find some.

I don't like the new SUV's so I don't expect the P/U's to be better.

I actually like some of the spy picks I have seen for the new GM pickups and to hear they are finally getting rid of Torsion bars, makes me willing to consider one.  I am not a brand loyalist, I own a Ford and three GM's and a Dodge, If I like the vehicle I buy it. I haven't liked a Chevy pickup since 1972 and I was born in 81 so that means my entire life I have thought they were cheap and ugly looking. If the new ones come out and look like I think they are going to and have better suspension, while retaining the great gas mileage the current ones get, I'll be stopping by the Chevy store.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, but don't worry I made your horn louder."

If the number of 900 Tahoes, Yukons, and Escalades I see running around here are any indication, GM has a success on their hands.

The 22MPG figure I've seen I believe is for the Hybrid version which uses the 2-stage hybrid system GM co-developed with DaimlerChrysler and BMW.
I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.
