Before I take a razor blade to my windows, can anyone recommend a better way to clean over spray from glass????
Thanks

terrible one

I would think that you could use paint thinner or something like that, but I've never done it before.

This is great, just did this last night. used some stuff called oops. Worked pretty well.

razor blade works, laquer thinner works well. I like oooo steel wool (finest grade) and finish with laquer thinner then clean with glass cleaner.

acetone is very good, but watch out for the(new) paint anyhow

I've always used a razor. Make sure you are always using a sharp one though. Lacquer Thinner works well too.

Cleaned some week old oil based enamel spatters off glass last night with paint brush cleaner, did it quick.  I dab a little on a rag, let it soak in a few seconds, and go to "daubing".  It also worked quickly to clean the painter's tray I was using.

The mineral spirits thinner took a looong time to remove it.  I worry about scratching the glass using razor blades.

Bought mine at Lowe's, a Klean-Strip product, last listing on this page:

grade 0000 steel wool works great...doesn't scratch and is soft....good for cleaning chrome too!!!   Don't use anything coarser than 0000 though

This is a very easy fix , detailers clay bar . IT's foolfroof , a chimp can do without the risk of more damage , and trust me I have seen it all !

go with mild cleaners first, try wax and grease remover. It works great on fresh overspray especially

I didn't hear dot 3 and a sponge ! Why not 80 grit . why not stripper or a wire brush . Always start off with the system that has the lowest risk of damage . I cant be the only one that has used the detailer clay bar . I think it is too new school for the audience !

0000 steel wool and dip it in some thinner, works great on chrome too
