Flowmaster makes a 'ball flange' header collector that uses no gasket. Does anyone have any experience with these? Just wondering if they are better (or at least worth the money) than a traditional 3 bolt gasketed flange.

Here's a Summit link.

i read or heard  can't remember witch   that  the ball header collector makes the header less prone  to blowing flange gaskets or cracking , as being a ball design it can move slightly whilst remaining leak free

I'm using some cheap Hedmans with the ball-style collector.  I didn't use a gasket and they sealed up great!  It also made it easy to get the existing exhaust hooked up when I dropped my engine in.
