Does anyone make a transmission wiring harness for a '72 Charger?

I know of him already and plan to buy my engine harness and tac harness from him next week. He only lists a harness for '71 B body.

Is that the same for '72?

It should be the same. I don't know what year started, I think 73, where a brown wire coming from NSS center pin was spliced from starter relay terminal up to tranny bulkhead plug to control the seatbelt buzzer( interlock on 74 ). I now wasn't on 71, but not sure on 72 or late 72.

Definitelly on tranny harness as also plugged the blower and A/C compressor terminals ( blue and green ) on 71, maybe also on 72. When the tranny ground was added to this plug, then A/C wires were relocated out of bulkhead, with a grommet throught the firewall, because on tranny harness bulkhead plug weren't anymore two cavities emptied to that. So on that harness only difference would it be the tranny ground up to cab.

Hey Nacho!,
You wouldn't have one of those "nifty" blue prints for the '69 tranny (automatic)   by chance :ahum:

Nacho-RT74

I don't have any blueprints, just internet sources and an original 74 parts dealer catalog

I see,  :-\ I was wondering how the '69 ones wire up? I have the harness just have to figure on how to make it operate right ::)

Nacho-RT74

Oh you need juts the wiring ? buddy is exactly the same as diagrams I posted to all Mopars since 69 with 3 prongs, just that of course plug to bulkhead is not the same as far I know.

Back of bulkhead you'll find a white wire and a white traced black wire. One of then comes from accesories side of fusebox, and the other one runs up to rear harness.

Brown wire runs exactly the same up to G terminal of starter relay. I think you don't need Ground from NSS up to cab, so you will use the first diagram

Yeah I have the brown wire figured out! That one was pretty much self explanitory :yesnod: It's the other two I have yet to figure.  Thats what I was hoping for ya to throw out that fancy blue print :icon_smile_approve:

That kinda leaves me on how the "hood turn signal wires hook up?  But this thread should be in the electrical section huh :-\

you need just to match the two black wires from NSS with the ONLY TWO white wires existant on back of your bulkhead.

If you want to be more exact, you can match both traced wires and then the two solid wires, but is not really necessary. You can match on any way you want.

BTW here is a link it could be interesting to you:

Yep it sure does seem interesting to me THANKS  It "should " help out on my hood turn signal delimma :icon_smile_shy: and for the NSS I think I should be okay figuring that as well  :yesnod:

Thanks for leading me in the right direction.
