Of course they didn't have the correct ones at either wheel place I went to,
The first place was a joke... I wouldn't ever go back,
(have ya' seen the dave chapple "Popcopy" skit?)   :flame:

At the next the guy rolls his eyes ans says"I haven't seen these things since the '80s"... sigh...  :-\
These are for the '71 Plymouth and are needed to mount my old slot mags. My '69 chargers' wouldn't work cause of the thread direction of course.

I'd like to find a good source for these, on-line is fine....
thanks...

Not really sure what you are looking for, but I ordered some lug nuts, acorn style, from this place. Maybe you will find what you need.

Here are the ones I ordered. I haven't used them yet. Still waiting to save the money for putting the tires on the new rims.

The irony.  I'm tryin' to put aluminum slots from the 71 GTX on to the orange 69 Charger and am looking for lefthanded lug nuts to make it work.  Going to put the old 14" factory Rallyes from the 71 Charger R/T onto the 71 GTX.

When I bought the swapmeet vectors for my "other" 69, I trotted on down to my local Napa auto parts store to look for lug nuts-they had the right handed ones in stock, and they had the lefties for me the next day ;D

I just replaced the left-handed lug studs with right-handed ones..........never caused me any problems doing that.   Question though.......what was the purpose for that?....So the centrifugal force of rotation would make the lug nuts tighten up on themselves???   Always wondered why that was...

It was astute engineering on Chryslers part, but not necessary as the force was negligible compared to the torque on the lug nut holding it in place.  Looking back on the big picture, it caused more problems that it ever solved, with all the overtorqued lug nuts that ate into the rims and/or snapped wheel studs, before the mechanic realized the odd Chrysler left handed thread usage.
