In particular looking for pics of a '71 in silver with a black vinyl top if anyone happens to have one I'd really appreciate it.

When you say silver, I assume you mean Light Gunmetal... no true silver offered in '71 that I know of...

I don't have 71/72 but a good set of 73/74... one SE and one rallye:
Also a SE with Rallye stripe ( who knows if original )

geesh, i was leaning toward green on my 72, but now that i look at it im likin the silver on that 73/74?  I think lighter may look even better. also silver or grey  hide bad body work well lol

Silver metallic was a stock color on 73 and 74.  I own a 73 silver metallic, 400, 4 speed, sunroof car.
