Found this wire in the picture while hooking up my triple gauges.  good thing is it's to the ignition acc/on power so I can use the feed.  bad news is there is no fuse in the cartridge so I have no clue what it does/did.  my light and power seem to work but i'm really curious now.  it snakes behind the kick and looks to go under the carpet.  this was a tree shift car so consol wiring is out.

thanks for any replies in advance.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

It would seem to me that if it's in that kick panel, it's heading out back...

Thats an aftermarket inline fuseholder. Somebody added that for some sort of accessory.  You can trace the wire but it may come to a deadend.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

ok was thinking that, thanks for verifying. i'm using that power all day long though.  i should have about 20 wires coupled in to it when i'm done(kidding) :icon_smile_big:

I used to install them years ago on my old cars.  Most likely an existing or old stereo component
