'68 tail light lenses

2 of the 4 rear lenses in my '68 appear to have the center posts warped to one side.   Is this a typical problem with these original lenses?

YEP      Very common to see those center plastic posts drooping from the heat.

But the darn things get pitted bad usually before this happens, Charger Specialties sells them.
