I am considering replacing my 8 1/4 rear with a new Dana 60.
What should the pinion angle relative to the spring perches be?

Pinion angle to the spring perches isn't what is critical. It's the angle relative to the transmission output yolk that counts.

The rear-end builder asked me that question.  I think I remember 5 degrees down for Mopar, but I'm not sure.
Anyone?

I'm going to run MP heavy-duty replacement springs for my 73 Charger.
