lost my 69 tail light chrome

Went for a 5 mile drive, got home and the tail light chrome from the passenger side is missing   I spent the rest of the day driving and then walking the same route, but I never found it. 

It looks like they don't make repro ones, and from searching old posts it looks like they are hard as hell to find!  Is this still the case?  Any suggestions what to do? 

My 69 was so nice and complete before this

A talllight assy or 2 always pop up on ebay......might have to buy the whole light

Chris is probably right - might have to pick up the whole taillight lens to get the chrome trim.  I have seen one or two of the trim pieces sell on eBay separately from the lenses, but they don't come up that way often.  Might take a rechrome of one or both pieces to make them match too... Yuck, more headaches...

The pins that hold the trim onto the lens are prone to breakage.  I have one piece on my R/T that is loose (a few broken pins), but I never actually considered the possibility of it falling off.      Might have to take the lens off and epoxy the trim in place

thanks guys.. I didn't think of that for some reason, just found one on ebay.  My driver side bezel was loose too and just pulled right out, the pins were snapped and the glue was loose.  So I guess it was going to happen eventually.
