O.K. its finally time to start the restoration of my 69 R/T Charger. I have owned my charger since 1978 and raced it for a few years, sadly it has been sitting in my garage since 1985 waiting for attention. The good news is I have most of all the parts and its an Arizona car so the only rust is in the trunk area. I will add photos as I start restoring. Any advice that could help my restoration process will be appreciated.

I have been following your restoration for a while and it looks great. Your charger is almost like mine I have the super trac pac option with the 4:10 dana and hemi 4 speed. Its Red with a Black top, I like the way you documented every thing and the areas you have not posted I will try to post. Keep up the good work

Sounds like it will be a great looking Charger when you're done. That's good that you've been able to hang onto it all these years.

Maybe post some "before the resto" pics if you can. :icon_smile_cool:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Well, AZ, having an Arizona car is a good boost!  We Alaskans just LOVE buying Arizona cars for their lack of rust.   :icon_smile_wink:

Thanks for all the encouragement; I will post pics as soon as I can. I just finished ordering parts from Paddock and Year One today thanks for the discount code for both, it save me alot.
My first step is to disassemble the car piece by piece and label each one. Then off to dip my car. I will keep you all informed.
You can also track my progress on my personal web site www.michaelstrong.com/charger.htm
