Need pic of 69 date casting

I have a 440 engine block I am sure has a 68 date cast, but you know how those casts can be difficult to make out. I would like to see what the 9 digit looks like to be 100% certain. Thanks!

this is a 70 thread but the picture shows both an 8 and a 9 in the casting, hope it helps a little bit.

Thanks Mike. The date code on mine are different than the lower number.

wire brush that paint off and maybe you'll get a better look at it.  i think the paint is gumming up the numbers. just a thought

I will clean it down next time I am near it. It looks like an 8 in person. The picture distorts it more than it really is.

Try a pencil rubbing with paper or, sometimes it is easier to put some masking tape on it and then do a pencil rubbing.  I'd try this before cleaning the paint off.
