Check out this General Lee on Ebay. Remember it?

It is the one I posted on the old site for a friend this spring. You had inquired about it before you bought yours.

He sold it for $12,000 or $13,000 in February. Looks like they changed the rims and put some door panels in it. Pretty nice profit ehh.

Guess I should have bought it and done the same thing. Oh well.  :(

Yeah, I remember that.  I had been interested but he sold it before getting me any decent pics.  :(   Didn't he hand fabricate the quarters himself?

Yes. I think he made templates from heavy construction paper and then took a 4' x 8' piece of sheetmetal for each side, had it creased, trimmed, and hand worked from there on the curves. He is a talented guy and it was a decent car overall. He regretted selling it as time went on as he received a ton of calls afterwards offering 15K and more.

Personally, I think you did better getting the car you got though.

BTW I had thought about turning him loose on my '68 as I don't have the time or energy for another Charger project right now and I want to get it redone.
