Just curious. Is the cars for sale thread restricted to Mopars only?  Scrolling through it that's all I see. I'm interested in posting my camaro for sale and I didn't want to break any rules.

I don't think there is a restriction, but the interest level in this group is definitely tilted toward classic Chargers and Mopar in general.  Most members have at least some appreciation for other brands, and several own pretty nice/rare examples.

Nothing wrong with posting up your Camaro if you want - just temper your expectations accordingly.

There's never been an ad restriction on the make of the car, but listing off brands is definitely not the best thing to do if you want to find a buyer.

Other forums that I'm on have classified ads for sale but they all are for member items. I've noticed that there have been several "not mine" cars for sale. Why would you post a car for sale that's not yours? If you just wanted members to see it, post in general discussion  or other topics.

They are trying to get the word out for the benefit of others.
SOME people are considerate enough to actually do things to help other people, not just themselves.
Maybe a guy is looking for a car or part and doesn't know of all the different sites, auctions and forums where stuff is listed. I am thankful for the people that take the time to post a link to another site with an ad for a car or part.

One of my closest friends never bothered with the internet until roughly 5 years ago. All he did was basic stuff like email, website searches & maps. Same thing goes for a cell phone with him. He used a flip phone that they gave him at work & now has a smart phone that he got at the end of last year. He only recently learned how to upload the photos he takes. His first endeavor into placing ads for some collectibles was facebook.

I've been a member of this site as well as several other car sites, ebay, craigslist & facebook roughly 25 years. I do things online that, while not complicated, are intimidating if you are new at it. When my friend wanted to sell a project car, I wrote up the ad, copied & pasted it on here & as many sites that I had accounts for. It didn't take long for me but if he did it, it would have taken forever, plus having to wait for moderators to approve his account
