20 years ago was my first time there. It's a magical place. Be sure to get there for a sunrise or two.

The Bird at Bonneville and The Nugget Casino for the 2-day car show. The Bird was a hit, had Pattie Lindsley and her Mom Anne Lindsley there to share the experienced. There were a lot of the older racers that actually remember the car in its heyday

I am super jealous.  Not just for the car and the history, but also being at Speed Week.  Fingers crossed I will have my car done and be there next year.

Kind of an off topic question however I am curious, is that a Ram 2500 that you are towing with?
And what kind of gas mileage where you averaging?

Nope.. It is my 2012 Dodge Ram, 1500.. I did add air bags in the coil overs in the rear, best investment from a towing point of view.. The truck with the Uhaul auto transport with the Bird on it towed great !!! The mileage about about 13mpg... When I tow with my my friend's enclosed trailer, the truck still handles well with the air bags inflated and the truck sitting level.
