Waking up from a 13 year slumber

I could use your advice and help sanity checking my plan to awaken (temporally) my 1972, 318, car after being stored outside in southern CA for 13 years. I just need it to power itself onto a buddy's trailer and then into my garage 1500 miles later; sometime this month.

Plan:
Bug bomb the interior, trunk, engine compartment, and the rest under the car, enough for a couple houses.... I hate black widow spiders.
Drain fuel tank (anything better than syphoning it with a hose?)
Oil and filter change
Check all other fluids
plugs & wires
New battery
Maybe a separate fuel tank (gas can) just to feed the carb to get in on and off the trailer.
find a working  (or rebuild) 2 barrel carburetor and install it (could use help locating one), examples below.
Pray the tires hold air for at least 15 minutes, nothing ate important wiring, and the engine is not seized.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

My google search for a "318 carburetor" and a number of $70-$110 do those work well enough to move a 318 a few hundred feet out of the box?

First maybe get a socket on the crank and turn the engine over 2 full turns to make sure nothing is stuck
I had one valve stuck on the last engine I woke up from a long slumber

If the car drove to where it was sitting think all I would do from your list is check the oil in the engine
Does it still look good or is it low or is it high like something leaked into it to fill it up

If oil looked normal I would get a fresh battery and pour some gas down the carb and see if it would fire up
Might pull the hose off the fuel tank line going to the fuel pump and use a gallon can under the hood for fresh gas

If you just need to get the car onto the trailer, transported and then into your garage, I wouldn't screw around trying to make it run.

My procedure from back in the dark ages :

Step 1. Make sure the tires are aired up.

Step 2. Bring friends.

Step 3. You and your friends physically shove the car onto the trailer.

Getting a run at it, and parking the trailer on a slight down hill slope will help.

Step 4. Reverse this process when you get the car to your garage - less help is required to unload than to load.

Important safety tip:

Functional brakes and someone in the car to steer and apply said brakes will greatly reduce the chances of any

"OH SHIT"!!! moments.

Been there.

Done that.

Dozens, if not a hundred times back before any of us had ever heard of an electric winch.

You might check your local rental yards for a portable 12V winch to pull it on the trailer. I've even used a cable come-a-long.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

So...

Did you get your car home, or what?
